Our Pricing
With low overheads and a 25 yard commute to our workshop we offer competitive prices and are happy to try and work within your budget.
We are a VAT registered company and trade enquiries are welcome.
Picture framing is not an exact science and pricing can vary significantly from piece to piece. We have provided guide prices for some of our services in the sections below.
Bespoke Framing
Expect to pay around £40 for a basic 20 x 16 inch frame with no mount and standard 2mm framer's glass.
A white-core grade single mount, mid-range non-reflecting glass and mid-priced moulding would bring the price up to around £80.
Choose a conservation grade mount along with UV resistant non-reflecting glass and an upper range moulding and pricing would begin at around £120.
Canvas Stretching.
A 12 x 16 inch canvas stretched onto a 20mm deep stretcher frame would cost around £25
A 24 x 20 inch canvas stretched onto a 28mm deep stretcher frame would cost around £40
A 48 x 30 inch canvas stretched onto a 45mm deep stretcher frame would cost around £90.
Mount Cutting
A 20 x 16 inch mount with a single aperture in a whitecore mountboard would be around £8
A 24 x 20 inch mount with a single aperture in a conservation grade mountboard would start at £12
For double mounts expect to pay 80% more than a single mount.
Glass Cutting.
The three main glass types we tend to offer are:
2mm standard float glass - £3 per square foot
Etched non-reflecting glass - £9 per square foot
UV protective non-relecting glass - £16 per square foot
Fitting the glass in a frame would incur a surcharge.
